Meet Dawn Corley
My name is Dawn Corley, and I am the Educational Technologist at The Sullivans School in Yokosuka, Japan. I support classroom teachers and specialists at The Sullivans School to infuse technology in a standards-driven curriculum. This is my eleventh year as a career educator. I bring to the profession my skills and expertise enhanced by my previous teaching career in the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS), my service in the United States Air Force, and most importantly, my love of teaching.
I have taught seven years for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. During my first year of teaching for DoDDS, I taught sixth grade at Stearley Heights Elementary School located in Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, Japan. My second and third- year teaching experience was spent teaching sixth grade at Arnn Elementary School in Camp Zama, Japan. From July 2000 to June 2002, I taught Academically Intellectually Gifted Sixth Grade Language Arts and Science for Durham Public Schools at Neal Middle School.
From 2002-2004, I taught fourth grade at the Sullivans Elementary School in Yokosuka, Japan with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. Currently, I serve as the Educational Technologist at The Sullivans School.
